Never had much of a connection with Sonic. Knew nothing of the lore and very few characters and i LOVED the movie!
I didn't know what to expect from the film but thought it would be good with Jim Carrey , it was so good really good story telling all the plot made sense and it was all really thought through and funny great film it deserves its 5 stars

I'VE COME TO MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT
Metroid should be a horror or psychological thriller movie to make it work.
When I first saw trailers for this I was pretty skeptical. Like I grew up on Sonic the Hedgehog and played a lot of the games and watched the original SatAM cartoon when I was a kid and when I heard there was a movie I was worried that it would be an "Alvin & the Chipmunks/Transformers" cringe fest. But after watching the movie I was impressed, like this is a decent adaption of a beloved video game character, and I think it really pleases the fans of the original games. Hell I'm kinda hoping for a sequel and hopefully it's just as successful.
Also if they were gonna go through the trouble of having product placement, why not use the "Sonic Drive Thru" restaurant? I mean 1) they got chili dogs and that's Sonic's favorite food and 2) They could've worked in a joke about them sharing a name.
I think the product placement paid for the redesign.

I mean. It’s a good video game movie. Aside from detective pickachu which you know more as a animie. This is the best one. I thought that would have prompted a major reaction from Chris. Eh. Don’t mind. He prob still lives the Original Tomb Raider which again keep lovin that movie it will never die.
Metal gear solid movie is called escape from New York.
I sort of wished they kind of changed Dr. Robotic Costume I think idk just wish it was alittle bit more red idk.
Well… I'm gonna sheer your heart (maybe) cause I was never a Sonic fan… I dig this movie. Best Video Game adaptation I have ever seen and I have seen Super Mario Bros when it came out with my dad, I was 7yo. I see this movie as a promise for better game adaptations (ok, I digged Super Mario's also). And I loved the middle finger to Nintendo from SEGA with the planet full of muchrooms. Really… wow! 20years later, SEGA got his revenge 😀

Chris has such a hangup about product placement, but its how the movies we love get made. Without these sponsors the movie wouldn't get made.

Jim Carrey was the greatest thing in this movie. Love it so much. I wish the bloopers were longer instead of focusing on one scene where they messed up. I'm pretty sure Jim and marsden had many others
James Marsden is the same guy who started in Enchanted with Amy Adams. Did you know that? 😂

I let out a huge laugh at the beginning with the turtle scene that was so fucking funny.. and I didn't mind laughing my ass off throughout the whole movie.. there were only like 4 people in the room
I saw the movie on Valentine's day with my father, thus stapling it into my memory as some of the best moments of my life.
