I love (LOVE!) the tones of this guitar. For whatever reason, when I hear it played, I hear those great early Bruce Cockburn recordings (not saying he used one but the tones are there). $479. is a steal for this quality.
Great review, I just purchased this guitar in a Faded Burbon. $449 at Long and McQuade. The best sounding guitar I've heard in a long time, well balanced mellow tone. I'm in love.
Very good review and very nice instrument! i had the chance to test a Simon&Patrick CW GT Cedar a few months back while in Italy and i absolutely loved it 🙂 this songsmith sounds even deeper to my ears (in a good way). Too bad there's no electronics but i guess this is actually part of the final sonic result, isn't it?
This guitar is probably the 20 th guitar I’ve owned and best value by far. It never ceases to amaze me. Warm and and articulate with a neck that is so silky … you never want to let go. I literally say I’ll play for 10 minutes and end up still at it a half hour later. I played it in the store side by side with a $2,500 Gibson acoustic and it wasn’t even close! I’d take the S and P over it everyday. Looks great, stays in tune, Canadian made ….can’t say enough about it. Keeper.
HELP:
So, here's a bit of a mystery I think needs to be solved with more than a blanket answer.
I have a SIMON & PATRICK, CW BURST, QIT CUTAWAY…and I assumed, since it's not just a cheap, no name, knock off guitar, I would find TONS of reviews, comparisons and examples.
NOPE.
So why do I find everything BUT the guitar I spent over $500 for?
Is this an anomaly?
Too new to review?
Living in an alternate reality?
Enlighten me why theres almost NONE on youtube?
