Airspun wins as far as I'm concerned. I have been using it since I was 15 and I'm 49 now and still using it everyday. As a Licensed Esthetician for the last 18 years always recommend it to my clients and friends
Lots of comments saying "the smell's not that strong" but it's just a personal thing. I find it extremely strong, although I like it. I don't have a sensitive nose at all either.

Coty is a Cosmetic company since the 1900's, I always remember it on my Nana's dresser!!! It blows my mind that people are calling Coty a dupe for Laura when Coty airspun has been around the 1930's..think of the Hollywood beauties from the black and white film era!!! They pretty much work as dupes, but Laura Mercier is the $38.00 dupe for the $6.00 double the product Coty (pronounced like Cody)!!! Take your pick!! My money is on the Coty, again and again I keep coming back to it! As a Mom I just cannot justify that cost difference because it comes in a black lidded jar and "looks" and doesn't necessarily "act" "higher end" by today's standards! For my vanity…I have a MILLION products here with a black lid, I don't necessarily think the name on the jar or the jar itself makes me feel better and I for one like the pretty classic floral jar! With no flashback and no difference in coverage (I actually think your Coty side looks better by the way!) ☺️💗🙏🌺 it doesn't contain ingredients that cause acne, and the scent never bothered me! It fades to a floral that no one notices or gets close enough to but my husband! It is floral. But they do make an unscented! If anyone has sensitive skin, I urge you to check this list for products that cause issues and clog pores. See if some of your beloved pricey products are on there. Pricier isn't always better for you!

I remember Coty from when I was a kid. It does have a strong scent. Maybe because I'm used to makeup being unscented. That's the reason I don't use it. I have the Laura Mercier and it makes my face look ashy!

the Coty’s airspun smells pretty good… I have a sensitive nose and it smells really pleasant to me and it’s not strong at all, quite faint actually

Ok i watched and listen .. the Coty does not have a lasting heavy smell its been around longer and i am going to suggest you do switch to the Coty because the other made you look older by least 5 years .. in this video .. where the Coty side brighten you up … and it stays on well in a day of being in the heat with no caking or separating .. but i am no expert like you i just prefer something that doesnt age me

A potential dupe lol 😂 I’m pretty sure air spun face powder wasn’t made to mimic/compare to a name brand product that didn’t even exist when air spun face powder was first invented in 1935… but, then again that’s just a wild guess haha 🤣

I really don’t think the scent is that strong at all so you must be sensitive to smells. Definitely smells and has more of a fragrance but I personally love it and don’t think it’s overbearing at all.
I use coty airspun and I actually love it, it has a powder smell, but not THAT bad.
I bought one from Walmart, and yes! I totally agree with the scent. It is pretty strong.

An actual dupe would be a product that came out after Laura Mercier and Coty has been around since 1935. I don’t like strong smells but I love Coty airspun powder, it smells amazing to me. I’m not the only one because they even have a cologne that has that same scent. It’s a high end scent that sells out all the time.

I stayed until almost the end of the video because you are nice to look at, nice to listen to and the quality of the video is good. I did not like that you used different sponges for the application, that's biasing the outcome if one of them is better than the other. Also, application is key to product performance, if you don't know how to bake obviously the powder is not going to do any miracles. Last, if you're taking a picture with flash to test the powder, at least send the picture to your computer and show it as part of the video, not on your phone. The video camera on top of your phone screen is not going to show much detail. Did you even edit your video? Also, the flash from the selfie camera is different than the one in the main camera., should have tried both.
