Hi. I bought my copy for a lot more. Couldn't find it for less then 700€. I haven't shoot a lot with it for now, but as soonest the weather gets better I will try the lens. Have it mounted on my M240. Saludos desde Benahavis

Sorry to hear that. As well built as Leica cameras are, they need be taken care of. Last year, I was traveling with a friend, and he put his Leica S2 inside a camera bag on top of the luggage compartment of the plane. When we arrived his S2 failed to power up. Apparently, moisture caused by the air-conditioning system on board has damaged the camera.
Hi what do you think about this lens compare with the Carl zeiss planar 50mm f/2

Hola Hugo, sorry to hear about your m9. I’m sure Leica will get it back to normal. I have a Zeiss 35mm 2.8 and Zeiss 28mm 2.8. Both excellent lenses. Zeiss lenses are an excellent option to Leica lenses.
Bummer about your camera, Zeiss is awesome though (I love my Contax 45 f2).
Sorry to hear about the camera… I hope they'll be able to fix it for a reasonable price.
And yes, Zeiss lenses, even VEB, are scond to none.
Hugo, mala suerte que su M9 has caido en el suelo….By coincidence I recently purchased the same lens a couple of weeks ago. Frst pictures are excellent on the M10 as the M9. The rendering is different compared to more recent designs.

Sorry to hear that you dropped your M9, hopefully you will have the camera back soon and the bill won’t be too much. It’s never happened to me ( touch wood ) but I would be in tears if it did. Looking forward to seeing more videos with the M9 and Zeiss.
